Professional Managers Association (PMA)
For over four decades, the Professional Managers Association (PMA) has proudly served those in the IRS who are ineligible for union membership. The organization’s focus is to be a voice for all managers, management officials, non-bargaining unit workers, leadership development program participants, and retirees.
Scope of work:
As the Professional Managers Association entered its 40th anniversary, they wanted a rebrand to modernize their look while still appealing to their core audience and aligning with their industry. Hyphen led all redesign efforts such as logo design, corporate stationary, social media templates, Mailchimp templates, as well as a complete website redesign, including a member portal.
The logo:
As an organization that supports those in the IRS, PMA’s brandmark pays homage to the IRS brandmark. By modernizing the eagle, PMA’s brandmark illustrates the energy behind PMA’s mission and reflects the organization’s innovation in the field.
A benefit to this logo design was the ability for PMA to have both a primary and secondary icon in the single and double eagle wing, allowing for more flexibility with collateral while still complementing the overall brand.
